Born in Lorain, Ohio I grew up as the oldest of two siblings. Early on, I developed a love of music, playing in my father's Polka Band and also organ in church. By the age of 19, I had started my own band, along with playing accordion in other bands. It was at this time that I knew what I wanted to do with my life. Upon graduating from high school, I entered college to get my Bachelors in Accounting and passed my CPA test, but also took music courses. In 2000, I recorded my first solo album, Ed 2000, which also included my kids Andy, Lauren, and Julie.
I now travel with many bands, including Ed Klimczak Family Music, but also playing either Accordion or Drums with Al Battistelli, Wayne Golob, Frank Moravcik, and The Casuals.
I am currently a church organist at St. Joesph Church in Amherst along with Nativity Church in South Amherst, along with filling in at other various churches in Lorain County. I enjoy meeting other professional musicians and following the latest trends in electronic music, playing a MIDI Accordion. I enjoy traveling while playing music, from many trips to Florida and Las Vegas, to entertaining in New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Conneticut, as well as all over Ohio. Although I am highly sought after, I am always open to new projects. No job is too big or too small. Call me today at (440) 320-3508.
